Once again, we would like to specially invite you to the ALPI benefit tea. This year, besides of participating in a contest for important prizes, you will enjoy the Spring-Summer fashion show of designer Susana Ortiz. (www.susanaortiz.com.ar)
What´s collected will go towards the big challenge we took on this year: the realization of an intensive care unit, operating rooms and pediatrics hospitalization. This project arises before the lack of a children´s centre with these features. All of our efforts will lay on this realization over the next three years. No doubt, your solidarity responsibility in ALPI´s support is a key piece in the assembly of our social administration.

ONE MORE YEAR PRESENT AT THE 123º CATTLE RAISING, AGRICULTURE AND INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY EXHIBITION
From July 23rd until August 4th, ALPI had its home-made food stand at the Cattle Raising exhibition in La Rural (Palermo´s showground).
Our stand was placed in the gastronomic isle where, like every year, we sold our delicious stew, steak, chorizo, burgers, pies and delicious home-made cakes.
This year, the collected funds will be destined to a big project: the realization of an intensive care unit, operating rooms and pediatrics hospitalization. This project arises before the lack of a children´s centre with these features. All of our efforts will lay on this realization over the next three years. Third Great Solidarity Wine Auction
A classic that consolidates itself.
The great room of the Four Seasons Hotel held the third edition of this, already classic, auction.
Sponsor wineries and some private collectors contributed with varied and high class lots from the Argentine wine market.There were some sold out lots, special and limited editions and stylish magnum decanters. Some particular stand outs were a ´42 Semillon alongside with three Henry Gran Guarda bottles provided by Lagarde Winery and a ´77 Malbec Estrella from Weinert (donated by a private collector). Some imported wines were also offered like Chateau Montviel and Chateau La Gravière from French Pomerol.
This year, ALPI has a big challenge: to create of an intensive care unit and pediatrics operating rooms. The collections from the auctions will be destined towards that goal.
It is also remarkable the growing participation of High range wineries: 16 this year, establishing a record of sponsor collaborators.
The benefit wine auctions are a great occasion to associate the highest exponents of grape growing and wine production combined with a beneficial goal. Double gratification and pleasure for those who collaborate participating in this event.

Argentine Polo Open Championship
Since 1958 ALPI is present at the Argentine Polo Open Championship with its classic bar and ALPI CHICO The Polo Pub, established 2008.
We thank different companies like Cerveceria y Malteria Quilmes, Compañia de alimentos Fargo, Cabrales, Chandon wineries and Molinos Rio de La Plata, for providing their products each year.
We invite you to come to our bars to enjoy a countless amount of products and of course, the delicious Locatelli and “Polos”, sandwiches that are already a classic in every Open.

ALPI´s Solidarity Evening - 65º Anniversary
Monday August 25th 2008 - Alvear Palace Hotel
The traditional collection dinner party took place on Monday August 25th at Alvear Palace Hotel ballrooms; the institution´s 65th anniversary were celebrated.
Mr. Eduardo Galvez – event´s coordinator – was in charge of leading it alongside with Mariana Arias, and the show was in charge of Delfina Oliver Orchestra, titled “Dancing with Ginger and Fred”.
The show, set in the 40´s, invited all the audience to dance. People were delighted with a marvellous staging that gathered high-level orchestra, singers and dancers.
Delfina Oliver, considered as “the new voice of Argentine jazz” and “the most accepted singer by the local jazz avant garde, responsible for one of the best vocal jazz albums” (Clarin and La Nacion).

ALPI would like to thank Paz Caradonti & Co. For the beautiful flowers and centre of bureaus, to Mrs. Susana Milano, from Diffupar who was present collaborating with their Tous products, and to everyone giving their own time and effort in order to accomplish this dinner for us to collect funds to be able to continue with our mission, to rehabilitate motor function disabled patients, with special concern for those with low resources.
The collected funds will be destined to complete the high tech equipment for the new intensive care room, inaugurated in December 2007 thanks to the donations collected in previous events.

FRIENDS OF ALPI benefit lunch
Monday July 16 2007 – Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center.
During the week of friends, Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center and Dr. Eduardo Galvez organized a benefit lunch for ALPI, in order to collect funds to build the new intensive care unit.
The most prestigious chefs from Starwoods Hotels Latin America delighted us with an incredible culinary journey through South American haute cuisine: the northern region of Argentina, Buenos Aires, Uruguay, Brazil and the pacific region: Chile and Peru.
Retiro room is prepared with several typical food aisles from each country, identified with its origin flag, and then another two aisles specially set for desserts.
ALPI is a non-profit Civil Association dedicated to rehabilitate motor-disabled people.
The collected funds at this event will be destined to acquire the necessary equipment for the new intensive care unit, currently under construction.
ALPI would like to thank the Sheraton Buenos Aires Hotel & Convention Center and Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worlwide for giving us the opportunity of sharing the commitment to help those motor-disabled people, renewing our efforts and making our bonds towards solidarity tighter.
We still have a lot to achieve, a lot to build, but we count with many wills that are the pride and soul of ALPI.

Golf Tournament
It gathers teams from different companies which participate from the tournament showing their commitment towards the community. Next tournament will be held in October at the golf course in Palermo.
